I have done many projects and learned many skills. I have done several graphic design commissions, from creating graphics for an upcoming book, created logos for a podcast, and created thumbnails and branding kits for social media videos. I have done various videography projects, from editing videos for social media to producing a podcast. I have worked in photography, both as a volunteer and in freelance, for several years. I am always ready and excited to learn new skills and learn from those who have something to teach.

Knives Out (Movie Poster)
Using my favorite mystery movies as inspiration, I set out to create a vibrant and visually stunning movie poster that featured prominent aspects from the movie. I used Photoshop's filter gallery to add noise, a halftone filter, and a torn edges filter to get the textured look on the whole piece. The layer was set to Darken, which allowed color to be added back in.
A Mother's Hold (Poster)
Wanting to create something more abstract, I layered three different perspective photos on top of each other, all with respective threshold layers. I merged the layers and set the mode to darken and used the Magic Wand Tool to select random areas, which allowed me to paint in some color. I applied a halftone filter to the statues, added text, and a layer of noise on top.
Frontier (Concept Poster)
For this piece, I took a photo of Saturn, a photo of a desert landscape, and a photo of a hiker, and stitched them all together with layer masks. I applied a white to red to dark blue gradient map to add to the sci-fi look of the piece. Using a nice serif font, I added in the text and used the brush tool to add some fog to the landscape and some back to the atmosphere.
Two Faced (Artwork)
Wanting to create something a bit more artistic, I found two photos of the same model and reflected one of them. I added a layer of harsh grain and a layer mask with a gradient map to help add some depth and difference between the two images. I used a gradient that I added a Half Tone filter and Torn Edges filter to to create the background.
The Fight of Man (Poster)
This piece was created purely on the fact that I wanted to play around with path blurs. Using the brush tool, I used black and white to create some strokes before applying the path blur to make it funky. I applied some noise and an orange gradient map. I then added the photo, added a blue gradient map, as well as the text and the frame.
Athena
In college, I had an assignment that required me to make a low poly self portrait. I enjoyed it, but wanted to take it a step further and try another one. So, I took to Illustrator and created a low poly portrait of the Greek Goddess Athena. For an extra bit of visual interest, I added a red stroke around the whole piece and a layer of noise.
Leroy the Dragon
Meet Leroy, an original character that I created using the power of vector shapes. Specifically, I wanted to create one character, display different color variations, and show the range of emotion that Leroy can have.
Infographic
Tasked with making an infographic, I wanted to walk the line between using fun visuals with information trying to be communicated. I took advantage of the shape tool and a simple color palette, as well as a script font and a more decorative serif font, to effectively communicate the principles of design.
Books & Brews
Mascot logos are one of kind logos that are always unique to the brand. This design was for a book store/coffee shop hybrid. It was supposed to be recognizable, and true to the nature of the business. I sketched out a few variations before created the final version with the pen tool and using the complimentary colors of orange and blue for the color palette.
Unpopular Opinions Podcast Logo
Created for an upcoming podcast, I sketched out several variations before taking to Illustrator to create this mascot logo of the podcast personality. I used the pen tool to bring the character to life and curated the vibrant color palette to fit the vibrant nature of the podcast.
Range of Skin Tones
This illustration was commissioned for an upcoming book. After being given references and information of what the author was wanting, I used the pen tool to create this straightforward and simple to understand map for the book.
The goal for this project was to create a fall edition spread for a baking magazine. Made in InDesign, I was able to create a fall themed color palette, use vibrant photos, and linear design so the reader could easily follow along.
I set out to create a redesign of the menu for Dog Haus, a restaurant that specializes in hot dogs, burgers, and sliders. I used the existing color palette to create a bold menu that displayed each item and their respective descriptions, as well as vibrant photos of the food for customers to see.
Hired to create a digital pamphlet, I used InDesign to make a simplistic cover that still communicated that this was for adults with children. I used simple shapes to create dynamic headers and page numbers, without crowding and distracting from the text.
